1. NEW CLASS STARTING NEXT WEDNESDAY 5TH OCTOBER 5.45 - 7.15PM
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to come to this new class starting next week, whether you are currently on the waiting list or whether you are coming to any of the other pregnancy yoga classes at the moment. If you can swap to this class it will free up spaces in the other classes, so please let me know if you may be interested.
NB. PARKING: As the offices at No 8 will still be using their car-park, and residents coming home from work will need to park in front of No 10 and No 12, you will need to park on the roads nearby for this class. There are no parking restrictions on School Rd or Anderton Park Road. There are also a few parking spaces in front of the shops on St Mary's Row, further down Wake Green Rd towards Moseley village.
2. Change to the timing of the current Wednesday evening class
This class will now be 7.45 - 9.15pm, in the hope that the changeover from the earlier class will be less hectic.
3. Please make sure you pay your fees for October this week
Just a reminder that fees are due at the end of each month for the following month. As there is a waiting list for all classes, it is important that I know who will be coming each week. The monthly fee keeps your space in the class, which cannot be taken by anybody else, so fees are payable whether you come to the class or not. This also works as an incentive for you to encourage you to come to every class you possibly can. However, if there are special cases, I am always willing to listen, and try to help wherever I can.
If you started in September, and have already paid for part of October, you can wait until the last week you have paid for before paying for the rest of October.
There are 4 Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October, so payment is £32 for the whole month. If you are due during October, you can just pay up to your due date. If your baby comes early, I will refund any fees you have overpaid from the date you tell me.
You can pay by cash, cheque (made payable to Eau Baby!) or arrange a bank transfer to: A/C No: 42098560 Sort Code: 09-06-66 A/C Name: Eau Baby! Ref: YOUR NAME. Please let me know if you pay by BACS. If you would like to pay by credit/debit card or Paypal, please let me know.
It also helps with planning if you can let me know if you cannot attend any particular week, even if it is quite late when you let me know. My mobile number is: 07736 323779. Please feel free to text or call, but please remember to put your name at the end of the message so I know who you are. I also check emails regularly.
4. Birth Balls come in three different sizes - which one is right for you?
I have birth balls available for £20. They come in red, blue and yellow (depending how tall you are). If you don't have a suitable pump at home, you can buy a Power Pump for £4 or I will happily inflate it for you before you take it away.
5. Book your TENS unit for drug-free pain releif
Don't forget to reserve your TENS unit for labour. The cost is £25 for 5 weeks hire (37 - 42 weeks), including your own large re-useable pads, and a set of tester pads.
6. Would you like to know more about washable nappies?
Solihull Real nappy Network will be running their monthly Nappuccino at Burman Children’s Centre, Velsheda Road, Shirley B90 2JW on Monday, 3rd October. Drop in anytime between 1-3pm.
There is no on-site parking at the Children’s Centre but the manager at the Colebrook Pub B90 2LL on the corner of Haslucks Green Road and Velsheda Road has kindly agreed to let you park in his car park and walk down (about 2 mins walk). The Colebrook Pub is served by the 49, 3 and 3A buses and Shirley train station is about a ten minute walk.
At our Nappuccinos, there will be a wide selection of different washable nappies for you to look at and an experienced cloth nappy user on hand to answer any questions you may have. If you already use real nappies, come along and share your knowledge with those considering cloth. We provide free refreshments. Hope to see you there.
For more information take a look at their website: www.solihullrealnappynetwork.org.uk <http://www.solihullrealnappynetwork.org.uk>
7. Take a look at the free baby stuff on the Money Saving Expert website
